Installation and Maintenance
 Nanaimo Foundry employs diversified crews of millwrights, welders, riggers and pipe fitters for extensive industry maintenance and installation projects, focusing on the Forestry, Mining and Aggregate Industries along with some commercial installation projects.
We provide project management services that encompass all phases of the company's participation on a project. It begins with consultation on estimating job value and bid preparation, and ends when the job is completed to the clients satisfaction.
Forestry Industry |
Our range of experience in the forestry industry includes extensive paper machine maintenance, upgrades, roll changes, emergency shutdown assistance and boiler shutdown support.
These projects have included the winder, T.R.P., stock pumps & washers, vacuum pumps, blowers, conveying systems, gear trains, paper machine doctor upgrades and press rebuilds.

Mining Industry |
Our latest project within the Mining Industry was the Lead, Copper and Zinc circuit upgrade at a local mine. It has consisted of the rebuild of the circuits for the floatation line, installation of tanks and piping, installation of structural steel supports fabricated at our shop, and installing new floatation cells.

Aggregate Industry |
Our installation crew has had experience in the removal and reinstallation of conveyors, crushers and vibrating screens. One of our projects was a removal of a 12ft diameter multi plate underground tunnel; we have also completed dock upgrade and repairs. With the removal of conveyors, crushers and vibrating screens they are often shipped to our shop for extensive repairs and rebuilds.
